    Women's team has two very important home games

    The Dukes will play St. Louis tonight and St. Joe's on Sunday afternoon.  These are games that the Dukes should win and need to win if they hope to get to at least 20 wins this season.  Sagarin makes the Dukes a 13 pt. favorite tonight.  It also favors the Dukes by 9 1/2 over the Hawks.  More on the game after I return home from the Palumbo...

    They took care of St. Louis easily.  That is good.   St. Joes always gives them a rough time.   I watched them last night vs. Fordham and they had some injured returning players back and gave Fordham a game.

    St. Louis was a fairly easy win, altho' Duquesne won it in the first half by building up a big lead.  St. Louis won the 2nd half during which there were few defensive stops by Duquesne.  Gotta correct that, which I'm sure Coach Burt will.
