Alhough their record is better than ours, their out of conference schedule was much easier than ours. Their record on the road is poor. Interestingly, their roster is filled with JC transfers. They do have a very good big man and an outside shooter, but this is a winnable game.

i feel like its the definitive must win game at this point, as they start a brutal stretch after that.
(at GW and at richmond arent very winnable, should beat GM at home, but then road vs davidson, home vs GW before road games at umass and lasalle before home game vs dayton) they could go 1-7 in that stretch thats why i think this game is so important.
i think if they get back to playing sound fundamental basketball and making smart decisions, they should beat the bonnies. if they play with the same passion they did in second half vs vcu(minus the aforementioned selfishness of some players), i could see us winning by 5-10pts thurs nite.
im interested to see how lewis matches with ndioye(sp?)- comparable is size but ndoye has alot more athletic ability...

Bonnies are favored by 2.5 points tonight (line opened at 2, so some money has come in early on the Brown Indians). Pomeroy has the Dukes down as 3 point losers, 75-72, giving them a 38% chance of a win. The Dukes best chance of winning another A-10 conference game is this game, along with the upcoming home games against George Mason and Saint Louis.

What, were they playing women's teams?

Diner: Hard to believe but our out of conference SOS was 245 and the Bonnies was 326. We benefit by playing Pitt, PSU and ROBERT MORRIS!

Nice article in morning P-G about Lewis

It's not Robert Morris, it's St Francis that has the good rpi. NJIT, and MD Eastern Shore are both in the top 200, while RMU, and Lowell are in the top 250. Not a strong schedule, but the cupcakes are all respectable a their level, other than Pan-Am.

Good Lord, I didn't think there was a worse defensive team in the A-10 than us. I was wrong.

Dukes end half on 7-0 run, 51-39 McKoy 12, gill 11

Good Lord if they blow this.........

Unbelievable!
Tell me again Jim how this team is getting better. Double digit second half leads blown against lousy opponents in two straight weeks!
Pathetic!

McCoy 0-6 from the line. Pathetic.

Gee another totally uncontested, undefended three point shot made!
Yeah Jim, they're getting better.

Mason trying to drive into the tall trees. SMH!

Well, you need to learn how to lose before you can win and you people have to understand how young we are. Other teams that are younger than us just don't understand. But hey, we were up by 15 and I knew we had it in the bag. Plus, our attendance was pretty good tonight, did you see there must have been at least 50 students here. I bet the President was even here since he went to St. Bonaventure. But heck, $600,000 a year - we are rebuilding - wait til next year.

Ladies and Gentlemen...the wheels have officially fallen off ..!!!
Heads Must Roll for this embrassment ....
Pathetic... but yet... so, so predictible ...
They have Destroyed Duquesne Basketball....
Why so glum friends? What evidence do we have that tonight was out of the ordinary?

I was wondering when a 7 footer is scoring and rebounding at will and we have a 6-11 player sitting on the bench with two fouls most of 2 nd half, when a guy can put up 36 why not a box and one on him?

This coaching staff is horrible. So much I want to say but too disgusted tonight. The Dukes 2-3 zone is so pathetic. No, Jim this team is not getting better unless you call giving up 100 better.

Great point Phil. Also with Lewis out, did you notice how the Bonnies set inside picks against McKoy to free up Ndoy for easy buckets. Ferry was totally out coached in the second half.

I agree with Duqkurt. This is who we are. I expect to lose and if we almost win I derive some joy. Pathetic but true.
