FWIW.....
KenPom projects the Dukes record at 20-11; 11-7 in conference (tied for 4th)
But looking at each individual game, the Dukes would be underdogs in only 6 games.
For the home opener vs. Cleveland State, he has the Dukes winning by 9 with a score of 75-66.

Cleveland State game will definitely have some history.  Dru Joyce comes here from that school after getting snubbed for the head coaching job there.  He helped recruit some of those players.  Hope the DU players play hard for him!

Saw a top 25 mid-majors list last night, had SDSU on it, but not Gonzaga.   We came in at 19.   Dayton, Bona and VCU were above us.
Is Gonzaga that bad this year or are they no longer considered a mid-major, and if not, why was SDSU?

In the preseason WCC coaches poll, the Zags were picked to finish 2nd behind Saint Mary’s. A side note: Dukes opponent Santa Clara picked to finish 5th.
