El P and SRM I wholeheartedly agree and man would Mike Hughes make a difference on this team. Very disappointed in the lack of Dixon's offensive development, especially in the low block. He is as tall if not taller than Hughes was. I really don't know what area of the floor Necas should be scoring from on a consistent basis. As to the guards, yes DD and Clark where a lethal combination and we knew there would be a drop off there, but I don't think we recruited properly to fill the guard position - especially at PG. I think a quality PG would cure a lot of what ails us right now. Cam and Maximus could maybe play the 2, but maybe they are more suited to the 3, not really sure. I one thing I am sure of is we missed on landing the needed PG with decent size.
When we reach 70 first, nearly every time in recent years, we most likely win. But, this last game, trying to slow our offense down seems to lose games.I hope our offense gets to 70 first on Wed. .
If they lose to Richmond this Wednesday they stink. I have watched Richmond on tv & at Bill & Mary. Terrible team. However, like the UMASS game Coach Martin adjusted at halftime & Coach Joyce as well as the players struggled. The Richmond coach is very good. I do like Coach Joyce upside. After all this is his first year as a head coach. This team needs a point guard next year. The strength of A10 competition has always been the guard play.
Coaches can’t make shots for players and Duquesne missed open shots, layups and FTs the entire game. It was painful to watch, but had little to do with halftime adjustments. UMASS just had one player in Diggins who finally started to make every shot in the last eight minutes of the game. So blaming every loss on the “first year coach is kind of inaccurate.

Coaching doesn’t matter really😂😂😂 1 point game at halftime. Coach Martin frees up Diggins who had 4 points. No, experience as a head coach matters. Player rotations matchups etc. Coach Joyce has even acknowledged this point in a prior press conference. Coach Mooney at Richmond very good. However, the team is horrible. Dukes should win by 10. This is an accurate statement.
