I want to turn this slop off, but will watch it.
27 games into the season and cant break a soft press.  🤷🏻‍♂️

I am saying this with 2:23 left. One of the ugliest games of the year. LaSalle is terrible and if we lose, what does that make us. Also, the officiating favored us.

They made the shots from the stripe when it counted. Good practice I guess… because that should have been a blowout

This should have been a blowout. Dru's pattern of subbing out hot players isn't helping momentum.

Take the W and get out of Philly. That was a very bad La Salle team. Was there one player on that team that you would want to play for the Dukes?

None. I really didn't see one player that stuck out as hard to stop, nor hurt us shooting.

With the W, the Dukes move into sole possession of 7th place in the conference.

Our team is mediocre this year. It is as simple as that.

On the bright side:
-I like watching Wilborn play. He screens, hustles, boxes out, finishes, blocks shots, & has a controlled mean streak.
-Necas has had loads of ticky-tac injury problems this season & is just a sophomore.
-They won!
-Dru is a first-year coach.
-If Loyola keeps beating up on GW tonight, the Dukes will somehow be in 7th place by themselves.

Drew is a good coach who seems open minded enough to learn things like not taking out a hot hand.

Dukes may need to win against George Mason and St. Louis… hopefully just one of them.

This may sound blasphemous but I’m good with VCU winning to give the A10 another shot at a two bid league.  A loss to the Dukes would really hurt them.

You don't complain about road wins in conference, but that was ugly. We're all hoping for another late season run from the Dukes, but they're going to need to play a lot better if that's going to happen.

I’m glad someone said it. May be the first time it has ever been said in this forum. It certainly did. It wasn’t as bad as the announcers made it out to be. And there were more fouls called on the Dukes than the Explorers but we got the calls tonight that good teams get against bad teams. It felt odd. The Steelers have been getting them for years so I know what it feels like but it was odd seeing the Dukes get them.
