it’s not Duquesne Football unless you have one of these dismal performances each year. Losing to a 1-5 team, which was a 23½ point underdog, is so very disappointing.

I don't know if you saw the game, as I was surprised to see it televised. Even being one of our most played opponents I'd never seen Wagner. Watching this game it was pretty clear why they were 1-4 though. Nothing went right for the Dukes and yet they still had a shot to pull it out late. I still like our chances to win the NEC, but that has a lot more to do with terrible competition than the Dukes being good. If we do make the playoffs I think the only suspense will be if we cover what will probably be a pretty huge spread.

I agree Phoenix, this team always seems to have a complete meltdown, for a game when you least expect a loss.

Sadly it looks like the Dukes gave us more than one stinker this season. I didn't see this one, but the stats looks pretty miserable. They even managed to slow down Isabella. Shockingly there is still a path to the conference championship, but it's a serious long shot. Not only would we need to win out, but CCSU would need to lose out. We'd then likely win the multi-team tiebreaker. Given the last two weeks, us winning out might be the most unlikely part of that.
