I do hope that Jim Ferry can rally this team and save his job.  I want wins and I don't care who the coach is.

Well I can't remember the last time someone stepped up, in this case M. Lewis freshman, and made a critical shot - the 3 that put us up one.  Then he makes 2 foul shots and Blackmon makes 4 in a row.  Very pleased with the "will" and clutch shots at the end as we otherwise too easily let them back in the game.  The announcers at one point said, before Lewis' 3, that we were 9-30 in the second half.  As I just texted my buddy in Florida, we do have some very good young talent (IMike, MLewis, Sander, TSmith) and some decent talent and depth overall.  I agree with VBC, I don't care who the Coach is, I just want WINS!  On the road, no matter the opponent, is always a good win and I am happy for the team.

A small step forward. A win Tuesday would be a potential game changer.

They are miles away from making this happen. All they did tonight was go from a possible 3-4 conference win season, to potentially 5-6 wins. They'll need to beat some better teams than Fordham to make me think they can approach .500, let alone the best outcome in decades.

For every positive play abrahamson made, he also made a negative play. He looks really erratic on offense and had some reckless drives to the hoop as well as a number of really bad shots. He definitely has talent and a pretty good stroke but hopefully he can shake the rust and improve his decision making.

Any win on the road is a good win. Nice to see the Dukes make big plays down the stretch. And Mike Lewis continues to impress; he has a lot of upside too.

KenOTR73, agreed. They rebounded their share of those misses against Fordham, but that will not be the case on most nights. What also is a concern is that they gave up 44 points to offensively challenged Fordham in the second half (granted, there were two 3's in the last few seconds). But that continues to be a pattern of Ferry's teams at Duquesne.
