Good team coming into the palumbo tomorrow. If your in the area, please come out and support this team. They have now won 4 in a row, have talent, and are entertaining to watch. We saw what this team was able to do with the crowd behind them against Pitt. These kids are working hard and deserve our support regardless of what we think of the current coaching regime. Let's go Dukes! Ummmm, but the game is Wednesday, correct? You're right, the game is Wednesday at 7:00. But regardless, the message is great! We're now in the A10 part of our schedule & the guys are really playing at a higher level than they had during what most agreed were a soft schedule in November. So come on out & support that effort. Don't talk about the low attendance if you are local, post on this site and then don't bother to attend. This is VCU, so the competition should be enough to bring out true supporters of DU BB, regardless of ingrained opinions and prejudices. So come on out & cheer on the Dukes! Couldn't agree more! He recruited all of the players from his second through this, his fifth year and hasn't had a winning season yet. Also, let's use some logic with your stats which I do appreciate. Division I teams who don't have mostly juniors and seniors can't win? You know that isn't true. Anyhow, this man's coaching has been a failure. I would love it if he would take us to the NCAA or even the NIT this year. He does have Juniors and Seniors on this team - who HE recruited. He is responsible. The program is a mess. I hope those who blindly think he is not responsible for this team these past 5 years - will admit he needs to go if we don't have a winning record. If he does, I will admit that I expected him to win and shouldn't have in year 1, 2, 3, and 4 and that this 5th year is what he needed. When you have basically a brand new team (especially with many underclassmen like I said) you have to expect the inconsistency, but the flashes are there. As long as they continue to improve and gel as a team as the season goes on I'll be happy. Then the next 2-3 years start to look really exciting.
Here's hoping that improvement continues tonight, especially so we can shut up those VCU fans - see you all at the game

I see this is your 1st post so welcome! We all love DU basketball. Okay, the other shoe...this is NOT a brand new team or a team with sooo many underclassroom. Don't get fooled by the Ferry B.S. He has been here for 5 years without a winning record and if you go back and find a previous post, you will see how we have seniors and juniors. Every year Ferry says we are young...um...can't be young every year!

What about last year? 86.8% from players who were on the team the previous year, 64.8% from players who were junior or senior eligibility.
