George Mason replaces Kim English (Providence) with Tony Skinn. VCU replaces Mike Rhoades (Penn State) with Ryan Odom. Keith Dambrot has the fourth longest coaching tenure of their current team of all A-10 Coaches. Insane. Besides Ace Baldwin in the transfer portal, Yuri Collins is turning pro and foregoing his final season at SLU. Top teams losing top players. VCU lost a lot more than Baldwin, their entire starting five and George Mason lost their top four players. Dayton lost two of their top 6 players and not done yet. You mentioned St Louis. That’s four of the teams that finished ahead of us, the lone team left that finished ahead of us is Fordham. If we can’t finish in the top three next year that would be a disgrace. Plus it is looking like a one bid team again next year for the A-10. I think it is waaaaay too early to be making this kind of statement/prediction. You only need to look as far as the Dukes being picked last for this past season to understand that nobody has any idea what kind of teams the portal will yield. This was true a month before the season & is at least doubly true 7 months before next season. Ace Baldwin officially to PSU.

Depending upon results this coming year, some hard decisions may be forthcoming next year for Dayton, Saint Louis, Richmond, Saint Joseph’s and Duquesne. •
