Haslametrics is pretty down on the Dukes. Interestingly they have us winning =16px 72.47 to 71.59.
I assume that's the home court advantage factoring in. Go Dukes!

Seems like a bellwether game. We have already been in some battles so they should be mentally prepared for another competitive game. Hope there is a good crowd!

Princeton’s starters are all averaging over 30 minutes per game. They don’t rely on their bench very much at all. The Dukes depth should allow them to pressure Princeton for the entire game. I also expect Savrasov will help neutralize #3, Caden Pierce, their 6’7” forward rebounding machine.

Not only is Pierce a rebounding machine with 15 against Hofstra last week, he scored 26 points at a 50% efficiency rate! The Dukes will need to guard effectively against the 3 point (since all of the Tigers are deadly shooters). I think the key, since they essentially use only 6 players -- is to press and tire them out if that is possible. We use 10-11 players, so that should not be a problem.

However, they are all definitely good athletes. It won't be easy. I watched some of their games -- at Rutgers and at Hofstra - and they are like a machine. Grinding it in, kicking it outside and then shooting from the perimeter, sometimes even further.

This is a must win game.Instead of watching the game on TV come cheer the Dukes.Duquesne needs that home court advantage.Princeton is one of the best teams Dukes will play all year.

Damn. Good effort to make it close. Drame needs to make that shot for the win. Woulda created some excitement with a comeback win with nothing else going on in town, but instead people will think same old Dikes. 😤
