With Halil's Departure there are now 10 players in the program and 5 slots available.  Hoping for some ADDITIONS soon.

I don't know if the walk-ons will be back with all the changes that were covered on the first page, but Prolla and McDermott have eligibility left.

Looks like there are only 9 in and 6 available -  YOU are correct..  When Barre and Wilborn left -  only ONE got subtracted in the numbers.  That is why I/we are TRYING to keep track of the roster.  Mea Culpa!!

It will be interesting to see how Dru fills out his roster, and whether they fill all 15 possible roster spots.  Personally, I think having 15 guys on scholarship, or by today’s standards, on the payroll is too many.  I think you could take a scholarship and distribute its value among 2-3 Preferred walk-ons in the form of High School players.  The point being, how often would roster spots 13,14,and 15 actually do more than practice?

Somebody please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe 15 is not the new scholarship limit, but the maximum roster size. If so any walk-ons would have to be counted in the 15. That is why I mentioned Prolla and McDermott. Of course if we hit 15 without them they’d be the first to go. If they are coming back though I believe they would be counted in the 15. Again please correct me if that is wrong. Things are changing so often and so quickly now that I certainly could be mistaken.

I haven't seen anything from/about Dom Aekins since before he went to prep school that says he is committed to Duquesne. Does anyone have any recent info confirming his commitment is still in place?

A quick look at his Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/domaekins/ shows the first picture with a Duquesne background. This article https://www.phenomhoopreport.com/duquesne-commit-2025-dominique-aekins-puts-on-a-strong-show/ from March also mentions him as a Duquesne commit. Nothing is a given in today’s world until he’s actually on campus, but all indications I can find are good.
