I’m guessing it’s illness related but haven’t heard. Also wondering if anyone knows.

Interesting fact. The game against Duquesne was the closest contest St. Louis has seen thus far in A10 play. The four point loss by Duquesne contrasts to nine points or more by any other team.  I think this reinforces the fact that Duquesne can be a threat in the A-10, especially with the lackluster offensive play toward the end of the game by Duquesne.

We’re seeing the team continue to play better defensively. If the offense can really kick in, and we solve the three spot that we’ve been discussing, this team will gain more and more confidence in the defensive and offensive sides of the coin.

There’s been a fair amount of chatter on the board here about Cam getting too many minutes and needing to shake the lineup up.  Today he played five minutes. Says to me, coach is starting to look at players and figure out who should be getting more minutes or less in the right combinations.   I’ll take that and the win as positive signs for now. Keep building. Keep getting better. Keep winning.

Tough loss but they played hard.  They haven’t really reached their potential yet.  I’m thinking this team gets better and will be competitive come A10 tournament time.  If a few things start to click on offense as a team they will be harder to beat as their D gets better every game.

Hard seeing so many missed shots at the end but the effort was there.

I have more optimism about the potential for this team. If they can continue to grow together and work as a unit they can be much better. Really good ball movement at times. Hugley adds a dimension that I really like if they can work together and play the brand of basketball with strong defensive and good shot selection.  Nice to see Cam have a good game. If we continue to get better each game we can cause some problems for teams. 

Hugley on the interior will be hard for teams to handle if he gets back to where he was at the beginning of the season. He seems more committed to D too.  We need to get better on defending the three.  Still too many open shots.

All around  good win and happy for the team. I know the grind of college athletics having done it myself. I believe they are working hard and Dru is holding them to a standard. Let’s keep the faith.

Well they are playing to win right now. Just need to keep this up.

A lot of minutes and surely the team learned a great deal about themselves.   Keep building and growing. Good win.

I was on the men’s swim team many years ago before it was cut. It was one of the better teams of f all the sports. I hit the panic button after this last game.  Very depressing.

This team looks like they are playing a pickup game where the dukes just fielded a random group of guys.  No chemistry and flow to our offense and sluggish D.  Long season on the way. Losing interest fast.

7’ and 285 lbs so lots of potential. Anyone notice that Dixon put on 20 lbs since last year. Should certainly my help on the interior

I believe this team will get better and better the more they play and be dominant in the A10 by end of season

I am glad to see him back as well. If he can stay focused, play smart, and bring intensity on the court, his athleticism will translate to solid games and contributions. He really does have all of the tools to be a dominant player in the A10.  Go Dukes!
