Saw a number of games up close. I mentioned a while back that there was a visible level of friction between rosier and dinkins on the court. To me it was unacceptable and needed to be corrected. I’m ok with a reboot at this point.

Any word on if a redshirt has been declared?

It’s been a ton of fun watching the Dukes last year and this year so far. Been following them for 30+ years. I know some of you are going on 50+. Excited for this game. Go Dukes!!!  I like our chances too.

Really happy that Edwards battled back. When he is scoring it adds a dimension to the team that is needed. He is also a really good rebounder and athletic.

Fun to watch today’s game. The ball movement was exceptional.  We are a good 3pt shooting team and that makes it hard to beat us.

Excited for the rest of the season. Announcers were mentioning demichele is back in the boot.  They also said it might be up for consideration to redshirt if he can’t come back soon.  He’s too good of a player to waste a year not on the court.

At the game. GW is bigger this year and more physical. Refs letting them play with more contact and not calling every foul.  Dukes are playing composed and finding the open shots. Glad to see Edwards finding his shot in this game.  Dixon is a beast blocking shots.  Really like how our bigs can match up and create problems. This team has potential.  We need to find our true guards and rotations there but it’s coming together.

NapaDuke I’m with you. I was looking our bigs and appreciating the athleticism that they bring. We have a good group there which is often hard to put together and they have more years remaining. I also think Dru thought Edwards was going to be a key contributor which hasn’t happened so it’s changed the lineup as well and rotations. 

I’m curious to see if Williams is available with his size and ability to move players.  If not maybe he takes a medical year. Also really helping Jake can get and stay healthy this year as I believe his play is one of the missing pieces right now.

It’s great to see the team coming together, playing good D, and finding their offense.  I think a lot of teams are going to underestimate the Dukes with the worst record in the A10 right now.
