Well I posted a message of optimism after the game but it did not hit. Anyway congrats to the Dukes for a difficult win. Duquesne Detroit Mercy is D1 - played Cleary. Cleary lost hugely. Most remember from last year, I assume, that their coach is former Dambrot assistant Carl Thomas and one of their players is former Dukes walk on Jaylen Cole-Williams. Let’s not jump off the bandwagon quite yet. We knew we had a new coach, new players , and no Jimmy or Dae Dae. Yes, tonight was unacceptable but remember our 0-5 start in A10 last year. Try to stay the course. Hall possible redshirt to continue rehab Thanks if that happens put his 5 minutes to Crawford. Had a great time at meet and greet last night. Encouraging update, Motor. I like this guy and feel he could be a factor for us when healthy. Hall possible redshirt to continue rehab Thanks if that happens put his 5 minutes to Crawford. Like your rotations either way. See where Lioscomb is two spots ahead of us on KenPom. Hall possible redshirt to continue rehab It is correct I believe that Corbett will only have one year What about Brandon Hall? Re-JOYCE. Go Drukes DRUquesne?? I like that. I sense possible marketing for that! Yes the hopping up and down was vintage. I agree - this kind of thread is refreshing Yes - and sometimes he would do the “are you ready” twice if he thought we were not sufficiently “into it” Well this is the class of 71 here and I can assure you 100% that it is ahoya . Good points, Phil. I think either scenario has great potential. I was just kind of thinking the “ain’t broke” thoughts Mike expressed. Either way, fun times. Phil - if you are hearing correctly, testing the waters for interest I could support. But the portal activity and the importance of both it and high school talent causes me to support CLK’s assertion that we need to act quickly to keep this current momentum alive. Also, many of our returnees would be important in my mind to retain. Chemistry is an intangible pretty much but is an asset to a winning future. The return of Adams-Woods and the Bonnies play of late makes things appear quite bleak. But hot streaks and/or winning streaks can happen at strange times despite apparently unlikely circumstances. In other words, I am on board for a win. I am guessing there was none. Only 2 days between games so I imagine getting on bus back home was priority. Probably a presser at practice? Not sure. I was getting quite turned off by the negative posts. I will say, though, that I have seen a change. The criticisms seem more thought through and make “basketball sense” and in the majority of cases deserved . It isn’t merely venom Lots of knowledgeable people on the board and I learn interesting angles. Just guess I do not usually have much to add. Happy posting. Committed to Montana No clue but I will say currents are Duquesne and Dayton with Temple the third. Quick first guess and probably stupid. Listed as sophomore on 22-23 GSU roster so I assume two? It came up OK for me. They really changed the appearance - maybe a browser issue? Not sure I am crazy about the new look but I guess have to adapt to it. Good luck. Gram - at Fordham Phoenix. Why was Barre “not available “. Illness?Men's Basketball » Game Thread - Loyola Chicago Ramblers » 2/08/2025 9:03 pm
